Last February 22nd, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the annual Cosmétologie Beauty, Wellness and Trends Expo with my sister, Sab.

I had always wanted to go to this annual expo but it was always held on weekdays and I was still in college.  Studies first, of course.

We first met up with Say at the Mall of Asia then made our way to the SMX Convention Center.  One of the things I was looking forward to were seeing brands like Beauty and Minerals, Digital Traincase, and Suesh.  Much to my delight, all of them were present!

Sophie Uy (www.beautynomics.com) owns and runs Beauty and Minerals which we all know also has Charm Essentials housed under the brand.  Brigitte Santos (www.iambrigitte.com) is the person behind the lovely Beauty Pro Palettes.

Sab, Say and I began to go around after we said our hellos to these lovely ladies.  We spotted Ms. Cory Quirino and Fanny Serrano himself and couldn’t help but have a photo op with them.

As you all know, Cosmetolgie is Fanny Serrano’s brainchild.  I love him!  He was so kengkoy playing around with his fans.

As you all know, this was where Say bought her traincase.  I found her so amusing because she kept doubting whether she made right decision purchasing it.  Both Sab and I assured that it was a good investment and it’s going to be a big help in her profession.

We were there pretty early so we decided to have lunch or a snack at MoA and also meet with Teena and Trina there.

Then Say decided it would be nice to do a Haul vlog with the things we’ve bought so far.  So we ended up doing it at the second floor of the building.  Then Trina arrived!

So eventually we all started to just hang out and catch up with one another.  Then we started to film another vlog.  It was near going home time when Sab and I decided to head back in and have a few more photo ops.  Much to our surprise, more beauty bloggers arrived!

Meeting these fabulous ladies was amazing!  I felt like a kid meeting her favorite superheroes.  I was super fan girl-ing and it was so cute that they were so kulit and had an aura of humbleness to them.  Mad respect for these ladies.

All in all, it was a great day.  However, I must be honest and share that I felt kind of disappointed with the expo.  I just feel that there wasn’t so much of a buzz in the air.  Reading up on blogs about the previous Cosmétologie expos, it seemed like it was such a grand event.  Also, it felt like it was more of an event for those who are part of salon or who run them which isn’t a bad thing but I was hoping that there would be more merchants like Beauty & Minerals, Digital Traincase, Suesh.  Hopefully next year will be better.
