It was a different bunch of people from the meet up before this so I was nervous at first but we all warmed up to one another easily.  Going through the photos made me realize that I miss hanging with you guys! Hihihi (:

I am a huge fan of nude lip colors so I decided to get one from this line.  There are actually three nude shades and they are Abu Dhabi, London and Stockholm.  When I was at Digital Traincase’s booth at the Mega Brands sale, I was already eye-ing London.  However, as I was placing an order via their facebook page, I began to rethink if I should get it since I wasn’t sure if the shade would suit me pretty well.  So I took some time to check out various swatches and I saw that I definitely liked Stockholm.  Shen’s Addiction’s post was what made me decide to get it.

It has a peach undertone to it.  I’m not sure if it’s because of my pigmented lips but it also has a slight pink undertone to it.  This nude shade is perfect to use for the day as it does not wash out my face at all.

The past couple of days have been pretty gloomy but chill.  All I want to do is curl up in bed with a mug of hot choco at my side and go through the interwebz haha :P  So just as I am going to do that, why not put up a post yeah?

As you all know, I got my hands on a NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream (NYX SMLC) recently.  I got Addis Ababa which is a bright pink.  The craze for these lip creams is starting to grow so I decided to put up a swatch here so you can see what it may look like.

Here it is right after I applied it:

It’s pretty light when you apply it unlike lipgloss which feels kind of sticky.  You have to let it dry for around ten minutes to see it’s awesome matte magic.

It looks pretty light in the photos but in reality, it’s a really really bright pink.  I don’t even think this was past ten minutes when I took it.  I’m pretty much impressed with this one that I got a couple more, namely Antwerp and Stockholm.

I’ll wait to get my hands on my other two SMLCs before I put up a review for them but swatches will, of course, be up asap heehee.

Hello world!  Finally, I found some time to compose this review (:

Back when I was younger, I disliked coloured contacts.  I especially disliked it if the colour doesn’t match the skin colour of the person.  I don’t mean to offend anyone but it really irks me to see a very tan person wearing shocking blue contacts.  I can let it slide if they were worn during parties and at clubs but in broad daylight?  Sad face ):  I find them pretty expensive too.  That and I was deathly afraid of the infections you can get!  However, as the years passed by, I probably became used to it.  Seeing a lot of people wear coloured contact lens made me think that 1. I won’t go blind by wearing them (that is, if you take care of them properly), 2. They kinda look good especially GEO lenses which do more than change the colour of your eyes (you know what I mean haha) and 3. They’re reasonably priced now.

So I decided, why not get a pair?  Going through online sites and some stalls I pass by, they cost around Php600 per pair which I still find kind of expensive.  That is until I found The Lens Shop.

My friend in facebook was tagged in one of their albums and I decided to check them out.  I was pretty much surprised at what I found out.  They were selling contact lenses for Php 300!  I must be dreaming or there must be a catch, I thought to myself.  For Php 300, I was thinking that these were the contacts that lasted for 3 months.  Yet again, much to my surprise and delight, I saw that they were have a life span of 1 year and come in the vial packaging.

These are no other than the Sparkle Lenses.  They’re almost like GEO Lenses except that they’re smaller in diameter.  GEO Lenses are, kindly correct me if I’m wrong, around 15mm while Sparkle Lenses are 14.5mm but they still give the effect of larger eyes.  I bought three pairs: Black, Violet and Green.  And here’s a treat, they now have other designs!  Back when I bought mine, they only had one series but now you can choose from four other more series: Angel, Nudy, Flower and Style.

I’ll be doing a review on my Violet pair for this post.

What I like about them:
The color isn’t so shocking.  I’ve worn this during the day and no one has commented on them (well not right in my face. Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Haha!)

What I don’t like about them:
Just like in clothes, they feel like they’re kind of tight on my eyes.  So when I get tired near the end of the day, I really feel them.

I actually had an embarrassing moment because I called Ms. Sol, the person responsible for Digital Traincase, by another name at first.  I think it’s because I misread a tweet, oopsies!

I was totally going crazy over the NYX round lipsticks! So much to choose from!
